How to Get Timed Entry Tickets at PokéPark Kanto

At PokéPark Kanto, timed entry tickets (or lottery entry) are required for the following three facilities.

Here, we’ll explain which facilities require tickets, along with the actual steps and important tips.

Facilities That Require Timed Entry Tickets

The following three facilities require timed entry tickets:

  • Pokémon Daisuki Shop (First-Come, First-Served)
This extremely popular shop offers many exclusive items that can only be purchased here.
Because there are so many attractive products, this location tends to become crowded early in the morning.
  • Pokémon Fureai House (First-Come, First-Served)
At this facility, you can meet different Pokémon depending on the day, including:
    ・Clefairy
    ・Vulpix
    ・Psyduck
    ・Growlithe
    ・Slowpoke
    ・Gengar
    ・Lapras
    ・Dragonite
It is very popular, and tickets often run out early in the day.
  • Kayatsuri Gym Show “Pikapika Sparks!” (Lottery)
This show is packed with exciting performances that fans of the original Pokémon generation will especially enjoy.
Lottery results appear surprisingly fast – usually within a second.

Because merchandise is very popular, the shop tends to get crowded quickly, so it’s a good idea to check prices in advance.

How to Get Timed Entry Tickets (App Only)

Timed entry tickets at PokéPark are available only through the official app.

Paper tickets are not distributed at the park.

The app is very simple to use, so even first-time visitors can get tickets easily.

Steps to Get a Timed Entry Ticket

You can usually get one ticket per facility per day, but rules may change, so it’s best to check the latest information in advance.

In particular, Pokémon Fureai House tickets tend to run out quickly, so many visitors prioritize it first.

Step-by-Step

①Open the PokéPark Kanto app

PokéPark Kanto App Home Screen

②Tap the “Timed Entry” button

③Select the event and time you want

This process is also straightforward and easy to follow.

Common Mistakes First-Time Visitors Make

This is the most important point to understand.

Timed entry tickets can be obtained as soon as you enter Yomiuriland, not after entering the PokéPark Kanto area.
Since PokéPark Kanto is located inside Yomiuriland, this is something you need to pay special attention to.
This is one of the most common mistakes first-time visitors make.

I didn’t know this at first and assumed I could get tickets after entering PokéPark Kanto.
By the time I realized my mistake at 10:25 AM, it was already too late.

Fujiko

The key is to get your timed entry tickets immediately after entering the park.

In particular, Pokémon Fureai House tickets run out very quickly, so opening the app and securing tickets right after entry is the best way to succeed.

What Time Should You Arrive to Get Timed Entry Tickets at PokéPark Kanto?

Although PokéPark Kanto had many visitors, the atmosphere was still comfortable and not stressful.

However, timed entry tickets require early action, and here I’ll explain why based on my real experience.

What Happened on the Day We Visited

I visited on a weekday, but even then, timed entry tickets were disappearing very quickly.

In short, 10:25 AM is already too late to get tickets.

It rained on and off that day, and when I tried to get tickets at 10:25 AM, this was the situation:

  • Pokémon Daisuki Shop → Tickets distributed only until around the 12:30 PM time slots
  • Pokémon Fureai House → All time slots already sold out

Even though the park didn’t feel extremely crowded, tickets were gone much faster than expected, which created a surprising gap between the crowd level and ticket availability.

Lines at Yomiuriland Start Before Opening Time

The entrance lines at Yomiuriland also become quite long, especially with visitors heading to PokéPark.

According to staff members, even on days when the park opens at 9:00 AM, some visitors start lining up as early as 7:00 AM.

If Yomiuriland opens at 9:00 AM, you should expect timed entry tickets to start disappearing immediately after entry begins.

What Time Should You Arrive?

If the park opens at 9:00 AM, the safest approach is to enter right at opening time and secure your timed entry tickets immediately.

On 9:00 AM opening days, I recommend lining up by at least 8:00 AM and getting your tickets as soon as you enter.

Some visitors start lining up around 7:00 AM, so arriving early gives you extra peace of mind.

Ideally, you should secure your tickets no later than 9:15 AM, but even by 9:15 AM, tickets may already be running out.

If you are aiming for Pokémon Fureai House, getting tickets right after opening is absolutely essential.

Important Rule Changes Starting July 2026

Starting July 2026, the rules for timed entry tickets will change.

Timed entry will begin after entering the park and from 12:00 PM onward.

This means:

  • You won’t be able to get tickets immediately in the morning
  • Ticket entry will start from 12:00 PM via the app
  • Crowd patterns may change as a result

Since the ticket system may vary depending on your visit date, always check the latest official information before your visit.

Town Pass Launch in May 2026 May Increase Crowds

Starting May 2026, a new ticket called the Town Pass is scheduled to be introduced.

This pass allows visitors to enjoy Kayatsuri Town, although it does not include entry to the Pokémon Forest.

Because this pass is more affordable, it may increase the number of visitors and make the morning ticket competition even more intense.

Even though the park currently feels comfortable, ticket competition may become more difficult after May.
So if your visit date is approaching, it’s best to check the latest updates.

You Can Still Meet Many Pokémon in Kayatsuri Town

Even if you cannot get tickets for Pokémon Fureai House, you can still meet many Pokémon inside PokéPark.

On the day I visited, I was able to meet:

  • Pikachu
  • Eevee
  • Gengar
  • Dragonite
  • Slowpoke
  • Snorlax

According to staff members, Vulpix sometimes appears on certain days as well.

So even without Pokémon Fureai House tickets, you can still enjoy meeting many Pokémon throughout the park.

Preparation Tips for Getting Timed Entry Tickets at PokéPark Kanto

Since timed entry tickets are available only through the app, preparing your smartphone is extremely important.

Here are some things to check in advance.

Make Sure You Can Log Into the App

If you cannot log in on the day of your visit, you won’t be able to enter the park or get timed entry tickets.

Before your visit, open the app and confirm that you can log in without any problems.

Bring a Portable Charger

At PokéPark, you’ll likely take many photos and videos of adorable Pokémon, which drains your battery quickly.

You will use your smartphone frequently because:

  • Timed entry tickets are obtained through the app
  • Shops are cashless only
  • You must show tickets in the app each time you re-enter shops or the forest

Because of this, bringing a portable battery is highly recommended.

Final Tips for Getting Timed Entry Tickets

Timed entry tickets at PokéPark Kanto can significantly affect how much you enjoy your day, depending on how well you understand the timing and process.

Even though the park itself feels comfortable, early action is essential when it comes to tickets.

Key points to remember:

  • If the park opens at 9:00 AM, entering right at opening time is ideal
  • Pokémon Fureai House tickets run out especially fast
  • App operation and smartphone battery preparation are very important
  • Be aware of the Town Pass launch (May 2026) and ticket entry time changes (July 2026)

By keeping these points in mind, you won’t have to worry about missing tickets and can fully enjoy your time with Pokémon.

I hope your day at PokéPark Kanto becomes a wonderful adventure! ✨
